An established voice in beauty, Jessica Matlin has shaped beauty media and retail for years. After serving as Beauty Director at Harper's Bazaar and Teen Vogue, she moved into retail, building the beauty business at luxury retailer Moda Operandi, where she is currently Director of Beauty and Home. Her most significant venture came in 2016 when she dreamed up Fat Mascara, the category-defining podcast known for its thoughtful analysis of beauty culture.
After nine years of hosting the podcast as a duo with friend and colleague Jennifer Sullivan, Fat Mascara enters an expansive and exciting new chapter with Jessica as a solo host. Insider but always inclusive, Jessica’s Fat Mascara allows guests to shed any agendas and share their love of beauty, and as a byproduct, their most relaxed and real selves. Jessica’s Fat Mascara is about connection, advice, and of course, some really great product recommendations, too.
